Organic solvents are denoted as follows: MeCN – acetonitrile; DCE – 1,2-dichloroethane
pKa in MeCN and pKip in DCE are directly measured experimental values whereas pKa in DCE is calculated/estimated based on pKip value and serves as an indication of the absolute pKa values in DCE. More information about the calculation procedures and discussion can be found in Chem. Sci., 2017, 8, 6964–6973.
For pKip(DCE) values the pKip of picric acid is arbitrarily set to 0.0 and other pKip values are given in reference to the value of picric acid.
